Geothermal Power Project in West Java on Track for 2016 Completion  (Jakarta Post)


Employees with Pertamina Geothermal Energy check the production of the KRH-4/1 geothermal well in Kadipaten, Tasikmalaya, in West Java on Saturday.

The well is part of the expansion project in the geothermal power plant PLTP Karaha Unit 1 with the capacity to generate 1x30 megawatt (MW). The power plant is expected to start distributing electricity power to state-owned company PLN at the end of 2016.
